Do you really know your target audience? You may want to ask yourself; What problems does my company’s product or service solve? Who are my current customers, What do customers stand to gain from choosing us (instead of a competitor)? So let’s hit the target together!
Some said a few years ago when technology was screaming, that Tradeshow and Conference business would go down, but I’m finding that people are seeing more attendance and more people at the shows and I think it’s because we want to get back together. I think at some point in time you really do need to see someone and create a relationship. I’m just wondering your doing about that?
What is the difference between marketing, business development, and sales? I would argue a lot of people think they’re the same, I would also argue that they are NOT! A lot of businesses will put sales and marketing together, when in reality they’re conflicts of interest. Marketing casts a wide net or shines a spotlight, and Sales is really trying to focus with a laser beam on getting new business and Business Development lands somewhere in-between those two.
